Random 俳句 – Seasoned Saints

Random 俳句 & A Poem

storms flooding
summer storms
nature perspiring
needing a shower
autumn storms
leaf confetti
winter storms
whiteouts blizzard’s
snow blind
valentines day
natures heart is throbbing
making love work
St David’s day
natures gifts to Wales
daffodils and leeks
St Georges day
were dragons just a myth
nature knows the truth
St Patricks day
Oh The Shamrock

Through Erin’s Isle,
To sport awhile,
As Love and Valor wander’d
With Wit, the sprite,
Whose quiver bright
A thousand arrows squander’s.
Where’er they pass,
A triple grass
Shoots up, with dew-drops streaming,
As softly green
As emeralds seen
Through purest crystal gleaming.
Oh the Shamrock, the green immortal Shamrock!
Chosen leaf
Of Bard and Chief,
Old Erin’s native Shamrock!

St Andrew’s Day
patron of many countries
Scotland to name one
