Robin Egg Blue
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Red brested songsters
Overt territorials
Blatantly jealous
In springtime true battlers
Nest cosy in teapots
Eggs beautiful blue
Gardeners friend eating bugs
Glupping down worms too
Bursting with songs full of joy
Lasting from dawn to past dusk
Unselfish parents feeding
Exceptional friends
Wonderful acrostic poem. I saw a robin in our yard yesterday. It must be nearing springtime here. 🙂
Probably is near nesting time, however this fickle weather were having, both sides of the big pond, is creating havoc, like the temperature up in the 60’s one day, then sub zero the next. Certainly not helping them. Many thanks for the accolade,
Mick
That is true here, also. Warm one day, then back to chilly. Today we’re having near 60mph wind, which is causing a sand storm! 🙂
