leaving the water
in swarms of thousands-flies
looking for a mate
that distant buzzing
now visible to the eye
a swarm of honey bee’s
swarms of May bug’s dance
convert trees to maypoles
looking for a mate
swarms of folk gather
spring equinox Stonehenge packed
March the twentieth
beware mosquitoes
swarm in nightly thousands
only females bite
crowds of folk swarming
weekend midnight raving
happy on the beach
locust swarm-millions
forming living clouds of fear
very hungry eaters
