Colleen’s Weekly #Tanka #Poetry Challenge # 25 – Clouds & Spring

CLOUDS & SPRING

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
clouds of spring
precipitating wonders
sustaining all life
nature shows not one regret
encouraging river flooding
~~~
clouds blocking vision
spring sunshine desperate
to warm sodden hearts
germinating frantic seed
begging clouds to take their leave
~~~
nature breathes fresh cloud
evaporation aiding
testing lovers vows
springtime virtues fraught with fear
temperatures fluctuating
~~~
fickle spring
cloud rain snow inclemency
affecting new life
nature begging help me
procrastinate then failure
~~~
tears angels crying
rain falls shows no mercy
bursting river banks
natures just gone crazy
results a fickle spring
~~~
truelove a springboard
for future generations
a cloud of laughter
warm rain from lovers eyes
babies birth jubilations

  1. Gorgeous images in my mind from your Tanka poems, Mick. I like the idea of spring representing many avenues for renewal. Well done. ❤
