Inspired Haiku and a Senryu

Haiku
the darkness of spring
respite for so many
daylight rejoices
~~
darkness hark listen
the vixen  still calling
owls twit twooing
~~
hedgehogs cavorting
toads hear them croaking till dawn
birds welcoming morn
~~
my favourite time
be I asleep or awake
natures dark secrets

    1. Im still in shock, not only ae you a great poet, your a very brave lady. I’ve had an inkling that there was an underlying something behind your words, but you story blew my mind. In fact it made me feel so inadequate I just wanted to be there for you. Sadly the only solace I can offer are my heart felt words along with the thousands of others you’ve received, bless you. I can only humbly thank you for being one of my best WB friends and long may it remain that way. Always your friend, much love,

      Mick

      1. Mick, Mick, Mick, you are the best friend I always longed to have. Thank you for being there. It’s so much nicer that you are here now. Your presence is so very heartwarming.

        1. tears still burning
whiplash welts scar my very soul
          scratches compared to your wounds
          some men the devil personified
my faith in God’s so strained
my words a part of me
platonic love I share with you
          the whole world too

Mind you take care Precious Lady
