Writing Prompt #203 “Letters to Death” | Haiku – Senryu

Letters to Death

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
summer ending
fall the process of dying
the grim reaper waits
~
how short life for some
as adults less than a day
impatient death
~
death harken I plead
release the suffering
years pain endured
~
i hear you calling
nature needs a helping hand
death show empathy
~
death i see you there
why do you wait take me now
repent or burn choose
~
some final words
death bend hear my whisper
lets go i’m ready
    1. Thanks RL,
      Not really a topic I would of used as a prompt but it was a challenge I couldn’t refuses, a bit like death itself, in as much as we cant refuse it.
      Hope you had a super Easter Sunday,
      Mivk
