peace…not natures way

not malicious..can cause tears

happy…sad…life moves on

war kills nature…life

in peace it thrives…yes with tears

still it breathes for all

Mallard Pair

MY GARDEN

My garden, more peace than war. Sadly many tear shed, on many score. This week pleasant yet uninvited, well not intentionally, a pair of mallard ducks. Their intent was to nest, not a wise decision. So for the day I gave them freedom of the pond and garden. An hour or two before dusk, and with a little tear I begged their pardon, then scared them out the garden. Not so much for their safety, but had they nested, and hatched ducklings off, the local cats, including mine, with not a doubt would dine on duck. So with a saddened heart, and a tear I bade them farewell, thinking maybe anther year?
