A Haiku Micro-anthology: Dew

Haiku

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
meadows… wildflowers…
hay… still morn dew damp… waiting
evaporation
~~~

dew contemplating

the condescending actions

of the rain… washed out

~~~
not dew…  tear’s of love
oft drank… quenching insects thirst
sustaining life
~~~

outside the window

dew espied… glinting jewels

natures valuables

~~~
a fairy crying
tears forming dew… requited love
not hatred… sorrow
~~~

dewdrops… babies…

stories of children past…

now torrential rain

~~~
my dewdrop… my wife…
many years of brilliance…
love prevailed
