Haibun: Pond Frogs

Pond Frogs

A glorious day, a yellow flag iris had burst into bloom, so matching the sun. Foxgloves, white and pink, a contrast for the yellow of the glorious day. Watering my bonsai I stopped to think, yep the flags look a little thirsty too. Well I did, then there was that proverbial splash, two frogs for the pond had simultaneously dashed. My camera, always to hand, switched off the flash, and look a great photo as planed.

the day was a dream
the garden looked different
eucalyptus gone
