TJ’s Household Haiku – Prompt: Drift & Air

Haiku Hub Badge copyright TJ Paris 2016

A MICRO HAIKU ANTHOLOGY

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
the drift was deep
the rabbit gasped for air
burrowing out
~~
clouds don’t drift
air currents… guilty shifters
thermals lift them high
~~
precious air
without it no life
get the drift
~~
polluted air
plastics drift in oceans
all life threatened
~~
icebergs drift
decreasing in their stature
air… sea… both guilty
~~
a free spirit
can drift… breath clean air
the way life should be
~~
to drift through life… free
not here… Utopia
air your thoughts no fear
~~
a final gasp of air
its job done your life was long
i now drift alone
~~
adjust your sail
drift not down… the devils realm
hot air… no… hot hell
~~
i did drift through life
a free spirit… my younger years
clean air then… no more
~~
i drift no more
i thank you for the challenge
a breath of fresh air
