Tanka | Angel & Devil

Angel & Devil

look Angel walking
no wings that one can see
chain attired neck
school satchel with his name
little Devil yep  that’s me
from hell they do call
heed not tis not help they want
there fallen Angels
the Devil  their guardian
beware or lose your soul
see that Angel walk
the Devil took its wings
attending church
singing gospel praying
pleading for forgiveness
the little flower
the Devil in disguise
berries so tempting
its Angel look belies
toxicity that takes lives
my Angel my love
crying tears of deception
crocodiles abound
Devils chosen warriors
devoted to their kind
imps and fairies
having devilish fun
gnomes fishing the pond
fish soles beware the bait
the catch the Angels cook
oh the struggle
the devilish words destroyed
my angelic thoughts
to go out on a tangent
likely paths to achievement
