TJ’s Household Haiku Challenge! – Spring & Cold

HAIKU

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
babbling brook… a spring
cold at source capturing sunlight
warming as it flows
~
hot spring bubbling
respite from winter cold
ask the monkeys
~
spring… yet winter cold
frost… snow… winter wont let go
now summer struggles
~
ice cold atmosphere
hearts feel it… spreading their warmth
the whole world needs it
~
truelove on cold nights
natures hot water bottle
spring to it… now
~
spring once thanked winter
its cold resting… nature slept
now begs for release
~
perturbed by the cold
my magic wand can’t function
spring spells froze inside
  1. Sangbad,
    Cant is one those English word that has many definitions, as in monks cant (sing, chant), the slope of a roof, and on and on, However cant as I used it is basically acceptable slang for can not; it can of course be used, (as I have amended it to), with an apostrophe. I am sure you are aware of all I have just said, but do thank you for picking up on my use, (the English uses of ‘cant’.
