A VILLANELLE POEM: NATURES FOR REAL

NATURES FOR REAL

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pinch ourselves, were not dreaming!
The dulcet tones of birds singing
Look, listen. natures for real, lets enjoy it.
Hark, monkeys howling, look I’m here
Could be danger, a howlers fear?
Pinch ourselves, were not dreaming!
Cricket’s, singing, calling for a mate
Choose me now, er it will be to late
Look, listen. natures for real, lets enjoy it.
Parrot’s, no charming song, does not matter
Nature did them proud, nature loves to flatter.
Pinch ourselves, were not dreaming!
Tiger’s, nature could lament, mans misunderstanding.
A myth still pursued. yet medically proved
false planning!
Look, listen. natures for real, lets enjoy it.
Now us, poets, all precious human beings,
Nature bestowed a gift on us, poetry, its writing.
Pinch ourselves, were not dreaming!
Look, listen. natures for real, lets enjoy it.
