HAKIU & A TANKA INSPIRED BY QUIESCENTLISTENER

HAIKU

spring… cuckoos make
listen… silence… cuckoos gone
position vacant
~
the voice of summer
a roar of wonder… hark life
new generations
~
hark a whispered swish
a breeze denuding trees
autumn confetti
~
winter respite
hibernating mammals
silent are the nights
~~~~~~~~~
TANKA
we might hear seasons
winter gales… spring song…
are we listening…
skylark waking dawn… daylight
nightingales… dusk lullabies
  1. Thanks Dave, nice to see you picked up on the chronological order. Can be on human nature too, which I dare say you knew, but just in case, and with respect here’s one that’s true:
    a broken heart… pain
    human nature can be sad
    unrequited love
    🙂
