Colleen’s Weekly #Poetry Challenge #46 – #Haiku: HONEY & WINE
Beautiful poetry Mick. I buy Meade from a Colorado winery that is exquisite. I’ll share a photo with my Haibun. Wine is definitely our gift from the gods! ❤

I agree, (on both counts 😉 ), but there is many who wouldn’t, but hey you know that, 🙂

shadows in darkness
how on earth can that be
moonlight adventures
that’s my haiku done
onward with a tanku… yea…
shadows in the light
shadows in the light
look… opened one’s eyes… too late
once shadows… now gone
barren waste… sunshine… what’s that
nature warning… none heeded
tanka completed
haibun fun… not fiction
a true story
The light of day before my very eye faded, shadows sunk into the ground. I looked up, searching, asking myself why, no clouds, no sun, yet a circle, an aurora, the total eclipse I had awoken to see. Now light again revealing shadows, my eyes taking in a wonder of our universe.
the joy of all life
not a shadow of not a doubt
light… the sun… much fun
