Respite for nature!
Except for the pylon,
Standing proud.
Time the cables went underground
In the distance beyond the trees,
Natures looking very happy,
Green fields, beckoning!
Respect, hark, hear nature asking,
Evict the bench, down the pylon!
Serendipitous, come on make it happen!
Trepidation, consternation, it won’t!
Impulsive humans, so unjust,
Never have they learnt to trust themselves!
Gone now are our chances, all hope lost!
