DESTINATION MALTA
sailed many straight miles until
the strait of Gibraltar
invited us to sail to Malta,
where dolphins gave us a thrill!
once disembarked we discussed,
would we ever, ever sail again,
as seasickness, vomiting, pain
caused us all so much disgust!

Interesting poem, at first it seems like the narrator really loved the trip, but then we get to experience the drawbacks of the sea voyage.

Thats the way it was, with a little bit of poetic licence, we actually stopped off at Gibraltar, before disembarking at Malta.

🙂 I used to travel in the subways of New York – not holding on to anything…
Then we took to choppy seas in a glass bottom boat… and it wasn’t pretty.
But I won’t let that stop me. I still love the water and boats. Though a bigger ship with some stabilizers might nice.

I’m not so sure it was the ship rolling, it was more the mess others made in their rush to deposit their last meal. The yuk and the smell!
