HAIBUN
I write, the cats at the window, scratching, glass screaming that ear piercing sound. I laid my quill, haha, no I momentary shutdown, but before I did I gave her a shout, “T C, let yourself,” of course I get the usual reply, “Me How”, okay I shut down and let her in, she looked at me and said, “Why didn’t you let me in when you first saw me”, how weird was that, she scared me. She looked me again and said, “Hey! Come on, I’m no scaredy-cat, I’m T C. I was gone.
I know a puller

dentist word press friend
Talk about a leg pull, my 25-year-old grandson was rolling on the living room floor crying with laughter. “Come on”, I said, “Whats so funny”. He gathered himself and said, ” Go check the cat”, then resumed dying. I went back into the kitchen, the cat looked up when I enter and, yes, spoke again and said “Check my collar”, I did, and there it was a mini homemade transmitter. As I sit here now and type my grandson passed the open kitchen door, shouted, “Goodnight”, and then said “Do you like my Halloween suit”, I thought how much of a coincidence is that he was dressed up as a leprechaun. What a night, and I never used the prompt words. YAY!
dawn… no… midmorning
breakfast time… I am ready
like dusk outside… cloudy

Not easy, a few rewrites, strange how the mind works at times, not seeing the obvious?
